What the analyzer checks

Most resume analyzers give you a vague score. Ours gives you a specific list of what to fix, ranked by impact. Here's what it looks at:

Structure and completeness

Does your resume include the core sections a recruiter expects: contact info, summary, experience, education, and skills? A missing section, or one buried in the wrong place, hurts both human and ATS scoring.

Action verb strength

Every bullet point should start with a past-tense action verb (Built, Led, Reduced, Launched). The analyzer flags weak openers like "Responsible for," "Helped with," or "Worked on."

Quantified impact

Strong resumes back up claims with numbers. The analyzer measures what percentage of your bullets include a metric (percentage, dollar amount, scale, time). The benchmark is 50% or higher.

Bullet count per role

Roles with 1-2 vague bullets look thin. Roles with 8+ bullets look bloated. The analyzer flags roles outside the 3-5 sweet spot.

First-person language

Resumes drop the subject ("Led a team" not "I led a team"). Any "I" in a bullet point gets flagged.

Buzzwords and clichés

"Results-driven," "detail-oriented," "team player," "hard worker" — these carry no weight in a summary or skills list. The analyzer flags them and suggests removing.
