Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Applio ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Applio you agree to this policy.

What we collect

Account information, your email address and a hashed password when you sign up.
Resume content, the information you enter to build your resume (work history, education, skills, etc.).
Usage data, basic information needed to operate the service, such as download counts and feature usage.
Optional feedback, messages you choose to send us through the in-app feedback form.

How we protect it

Passwords are hashed with PBKDF2-SHA256 and are never stored in plain text.
Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
Some data (such as your active resume draft) is stored locally in your browser for convenience.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Applio never receives or stores your full card details. Stripe's handling of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

AI features

When you use an AI feature (tailoring, ATS scoring, analysis, interview prep), the relevant resume or job-description text is sent to our AI provider to generate the result. We do not use your content to train models, and we do not sell it.

How we use your information

To provide and improve the service.
To process payments and manage your subscription.
To respond to feedback and support requests.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your resume content with third parties except the service providers needed to run Applio (e.g. our hosting and AI providers).

Your choices

You can edit or delete your resume content at any time inside the app, and you can stop using the service whenever you like. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us using the email below.
